Minion Pillow - Applique

For one of my friends 21st birthday and because she absolutely adores the Minions from Despicable Me I have decided to design and make her a pillow with the Minions using the applique technique so have I have draw up two designs and she has picked the one she liked the most.

Before we left for Christmas break we had attached the canvas to a painting frame as well as sectioned it into squares which we also did on the picture of the painting as well so it was easier to draw it into a bigger scale. This is an image of us from today when we started painting.
